Take the day off and Treat yo’ self! Do you want that expensive device you’ve been going back and forth about purchasing? Add it to your cart and Treat yo’ self! Want to order pizza from your favorite pizzeria, but your afraid the calories will derail your diet? Take the day and TREAT YO’ SELF!
When it comes to cheat meals it’s simple; we are not robots. Everything is good for you in moderation. We all need that one cheat meal to stay somewhat “sane.” It can help prevent binge eating, reduce cravings, and give yourself a mental break from dieting. I’d like to say for the most part I have a heathy plant-based diet, but there are times where I have cheat meals. Do I feel guilty eating it and immediately feel like I need to run a marathon to burn those extra calories, yes. And that’s ok. The thing is we need these days to treat ourselves to something that brings us joy even if it’s just for one time period. So what are you waiting for? Go ahead and Treat Yo’ Self!
