Earth Day
Today as well as everyday we celebrate the Earth π and everything it has to offer usπ§π π₯ππ₯¬π«. Itβs a time to roll up the sleeves and get our hands dirty. Itβs a chance for us to take care of our home so it can take care of us for years to come, because we only have one planet. It doesnβt matter if you plant a tree π³, eat more plants π±, make room for a new garden π©βπΎ, spend time amongst the trees, or conserve water and protect our waterways from plastic, make today and every day count ππ.
Here are some ways you can help:
π± Eat seasonally, locally, and more plants (see link in bio)
π Donβt litter, the world is not our trash can
β»οΈ Refuse, reduce, reuse, rot, recycle
π§ββοΈ Spend some time outdoors instead of plugged in
π΄ Bike more and drive less to reduce your carbon footprint
π Go zero waste to combat climate change
βοΈ Use more sustainable, clean energy
π§ Conserve water and protect our waterways
π« Say no to plastic water bottles
π Shop from bulk bins
Doing these little things help out with the bigger picture. I personally check off a lot of the items listed above everyday, but today Iβll be out in the garden tending to the seedlings and turning the soil prepping for the next round of seeds. Within the coming weeks/month I should have quite a bit to harvest. Take a look below to see whatβs currently growing. Thereβs also some onions, spinach, and lettuce also in the ground, but nothing popping up just yet, I figured there was no need to take a picture of soil. Which one of these will you take on today?
